Overview

The RS232<->RS485 converter allows to interface any device using an RS232 serial link to an RS485 link. It convert the RS232 RX and TX signals to two-wires balanced half-duplex RS485 signals. No external power supply require, it directly stealing from the RS232 signals.

It is widely used in industrial automation and control systems, card access system, parking system, etc...

Parameters:

• Serial characteristics : Interface is compatible with EIA/TIA RS-232C, RS-485 standard.

• Electrical interfaces : RS232-C terminal DB9, RS-485 DBP pin tyle connector with terminal (4 or 6 wires)

• Working modes : Asynchronous half-duplex.

• Transfer rate : 300 ~ 115200bps

• Transmission distance : 5 meters on RS-232 sides, 1200 meters on RS-485 sides.
