This is a force sensitive resistor with a round sensing area in 14.68mm diameter. It's resistance will vary depend on the pressure is applied on the surface of sensing area. The harder the force, the resistance is lower. The resistance is more than 1M ohm when no pressure is being applied.
For the application, it can be used to sense the presence of clamped objects at the end of the mechanical gripper; 2-Leg Robot/Spider Robot underfoot ground sensing; biometric experiments for mammalian bite force testing, etc.
However, because the pressure test is not very accurate, it is not recommended to use an exact measurement pressure.
